History
Geoff and Jill McMillan set up Prison Care Ministries. It became a Charitable Trust in September 2004, and works as directed by the Trustees. Geoff and Jill are two of the six Trustees. The main focus is to provide after care services and support to released prisoners and their families.
Their idea is based around working with prisoners and their families to
build a platform for reconciliation before, during and after their release
from prison. Geoff and Jill have had a lot of experience supporting serving
prisoners, released prisoners and their families. They identified a need
for these individuals after having worked with them and experiencing the
difficulties they face when re-integrating back into their families and
life outside.
From its start Prison Care Ministries has been functioning in this area,
having already assisted numerous individuals.
